I thought it was high time I brought out my favourite buy of the year so far. Yes, yes, I know this is a long awaited post on Peter Pilotto's totally amazing line for Target but two weeks ago was the most opportune time for me to don this beauty to Fashion for Compassion. As I eagerly awaited the release of the line I surfed through blogs and fashion publications to get the sneak preview of the line, and amongst all of the fab pieces that the uber talented designers (Peter Pilotto and Christopher De Vos) had to offer this dress was the one that caught my eye!
I love the beautiful floral print and its juxtaposition with the stripes and the dominant geometric shapes plastered on the dress. I love how each colour stands out so distinctively on its own, so much so that the dress can be accesoried with block and even neon colours. That's why I chose my fluffy neon pink bag to go with this look; it was the perfect compliment!
I was also drawn to the high-low cut of the dress; it's not too short, neither is it too long. The cut is what adds that extra bit of femininity and class to the dress. I felt so graceful in this dress!
I was wearing: Dress - Peter Pilotto for Target (here) | Heeled Sandals - Zara (similar) | Bag - River Island | Bracelet - Primark | Rings - H&M | Earrings - Topshop | Sunglasses - Topshop (similar)
