Hi everyone!!! Guess who just submitted her dissertation??? Yaaayyy, I'm so happy to be finally done with university. Wow, that makes me sound pretty old :-/ Lol. I can only thank God for seeing me through all these 4 years though, and now it's on to the next stage of my life. I look forward to what God has in store for me :)
Well, I'm hoping to start blogging a lot more regularly now that I'm uni-free so keep your eyes peeled on my-stylejournal ;). Today, I went down to the park near my house. It's such a lovely space and I can't wait to have a picnic there on a hot summer's day. I've also been waiting for a nice warm day to wear this pretty, denim, skater skirt that I purchased a few weeks ago from River Island, and even with the prospects of rain I decided to brave the weather outside and wear this outfit. Thank God it wasn't too cold!
I've also changed my hair! Well, I'm trying to go natural now; I've not relaxed it for about a year and if you remember my very first blog post (here) my hair was natural then! I only had extensions in for the past few weeks because I know maintaining my natural hair will require time, effort and patience and I didn't have that kind of time whilst writing my thesis.
This is what I like to call my summer hair, lol. Hopefully, I wouldn't get bored or tired of taking care of my natural hair. I've been looking forward to flaunting it and I tell you, so many looks have gone through my head just thinking about how I'll style myself with my summer hair.
