Down In London Town

Hi guys and girls! So last week I went down to London with a few friends and I had such a good time! It was a nice break from my dissertation and I loved running around London with my friends. It's always nice to get away from your natural setting and enjoy the experiences that another city has to offer. 

Here's what I wore on my London venture. I love simple colours and prints, so I decided to pair my floral trousers with block colours. I didn't want to stray too much from the predominant colours on my trousers so I thought I'd go for red flats as I love that red and pink contrast.  

Easy Breezy

Hi everyone!!! Wow! I think this is a new record for the number of days - or should I say weeks - that I've gone without blogging! Yikes! But I'm really excited to have nearly completed my dissertation so I assure you lovely readers that you'll definitely be getting more blog posts from me ;) Oh, and also look out for a revamped look on my blog :D. 

Well, the other day I felt a bit ill from all the work I've been doing and I woke up with a painful case of conjunctivitis. It was terribly uncomfortable! So, when the sun came out in full brightness with the light breeze complimenting such a lovely day (deep much), I decided to go for a little walk to cheer myself up and to get some fresh air, here's what I wore. 

Since it was such a breezy day I knew it was bound to get a bit chilly at times, so I couldn't leave my house without draping this cropped leather jacket over my shoulders.

This Spring/Summer's most exciting trend for me is the monochrome trend. The minimalist in me loves this trend because of it's simplicity and ease. Anyone can pull off the monochrome look with what I like to call "effortless ease." I even went monochrome for my birthday dinner last weekend and I chose to let the black and white stand out by opting for a nude pair of shoes and a nude clutch (scroll down for my birthday look).

On A Cold Spring Day

Happy Belated Easter, everyone!!!

Again, I have to apologise for not posting as regularly as I should, but hey, I'm sure I'm not the only one who's got a pile of uni work to get on with. Anyway, for a while now I've been reviewing the clothes in my cupboard and my shoe collection, trying to get things out that I haven't worn for a while and even things I've never worn before. I particularly enjoy doing this because I get to restyle things I've worn before and I make more (desperately needed) space in my cupboard by donating some of them to the Salvation Army. 

The other day I found this beautiful pair of fur-lined boots that I purchased like 3 years ago but I have never worn them, eek *covers face* lol. So I thought, why not wear them now since the cold has decided to stick around longer than we all expected. Today, I went shopping and for a late lunch with a good friend and here's what I wore - and I didn't forget those boots too ;)
